Participants have to be divided into two teams, with an equal number of members.
Each team stands in a row opposite to one another.
Directly in between the two teams, you should have a 4×4 grid that will be a tic-tac-toe board.
When the game starts, the first ones in the row run to the board to place a bandana in one of the squares and run back.
They clap hands with the next person standing in line, who runs with a bandana to do the same, and they stand themselves at the end of the row.
The game finishes when one team completes a row of 4 quicker than their opponents.
If there are all bandanas on the board and no team has completed a row of 4 yet, participants can pick whichever bandana of their team they want and change its position.
The winning team is the first one to get to five wins, or wins the most out of five games.
Things to keep in mind…
Do this activity outside to have enough space.
Don’t do it on slippery ground, because there is a risk of injury.
Announce the progress of each team to create a friendly rivalry.
