Instructions:

  • On the floor, you have to create/draw a 4×4 grid.
  • Participants have to be divided into two teams, with an equal number of members.
  • Each team stands in a row opposite to one another.
  • Directly in between the two teams, you should have a 4×4 grid that will be a tic-tac-toe board.
  • When the game starts, the first ones in the row run to the board to place a bandana in one of the squares and run back.
  • They clap hands with the next person standing in line, who runs with a bandana to do the same, and they stand themselves at the end of the row.
  • The game finishes when one team completes a row of 4 quicker than their opponents.
  • If there are all bandanas on the board and no team has completed a row of 4 yet, participants can pick whichever bandana of their team they want and change its position.
  • The winning team is the first one to get to five wins, or wins the most out of five games.
Things to keep in mind…
  • Do this activity outside to have enough space.
  • Don’t do it on slippery ground, because there is a risk of injury.
  • Announce the progress of each team to create a friendly rivalry.
