Participants split into groups of 5-6 members. Each group receives an A4/A3 paper with a drawing of a tree on it, and small papers in the shape of a leaf (made from colorful stick-it notes). Members of each group find a partner within that group with whom they are going to find one common interest/opinion/etc, and they are going to write that down on the ”leaf”’ along with their names. Then they change partners within the group until they have found one common interest with each member. Participants then stick that paper on the tree. They can later present the results to the whole group or simply hang the paper on a wall.
Hint: Participants should try to find a common interest, which is not that ”common”. For example: “We both have climbed a mountain” or ”Both of us are playing in a band”, etc.
