Have you been dreaming of putting your phone aside and finally picking up a camera for some real action? Well, this is your moment.
“Focus Pocus” is an international youth exchange set in the picturesque landscapes of Sweden. For 10 inspiring days, we’ll dive into the world of photography, exploring what it really takes to capture a meaningful shot and how to focus on what really matters. We’ll combine the technical aspects of photography with hands-on workshops, allowing you to gradually build your skills while experimenting and having fun. And who knows…you might even get the chance to build your very own camera.
The project will focus on photography as both a creative and analytical tool, exploring how it can be used for storytelling, communication, and reflection on culture and society. Participants will examine how meaning is created through deliberate choices made behind the camera, such as what is included or excluded from the frame, composition, light and color, perspective, and subject. Through this process, you will learn how images can evoke specific emotions, shape the message being conveyed, and guide the story each photograph tells.
This exchange is your chance to connect with like-minded people from across Europe, where you can share ideas, perspectives, and stories in an environment built on respect and inclusion.
