How can we justify youth work when leaving a significant carbon footprint with every step within an Erasmus+ project? Flying in 20 people from all over Europe can equal 2 tons of CO2. In addition, waste of food, energy, and other resources is a common problem at such events. Do you want to break the cycle and be a part of the ECO change? Are you interested in learning about a sustainable lifestyle? With this project, we will have a significant impact on the Erasmus+ community, influencing projects yet to come and organizations’ future work. Through various interactive and fun workshops, we will create content worth sharing.
The goal of “E+CO” is to create innovative material on sustainability in cooperation with motivated people from the field of youth work in an international and enjoyable environment. Together, 21 participants from Slovakia, Estonia, Greece, Poland, Austria, and Spain will work on new strategies, ideas, and information about making Erasmus+ projects more sustainable. We hope that it will impact the Erasmus community and other NGOs. It allows youth workers to get better acquainted with the topic while gaining hands-on experience and skills in eco-friendly project management.
